I am drawn to roads. Tree-lined roads, dirt-roads, roads to places I do not know, and roads that will lead me home.
Do you ever get that feeling in your heart the day before you leave for a trip away from home – that feeling of excitement that comes from knowing that you are about to see and experience new sights, sounds and smells that you have never before experienced? I love that feeling, and roads remind me to look ahead, and to look at life with excitement and curiosity, and perhaps a bit of excited trepidation in knowing that getting lost is always a possibility.
