The world can seem pretty intense and hostile. Many tragedies are occurring around the globe and in our own backyards. It can feel rather disheartening. Rather than focusing on the things that divide us, I’m trying to focus on the things that connect us. Remembering we all want the same things in this life. I think photography can be a unifier. It can be a vehicle to bring us closer to one another.

 
So, let’s remember this:
we are all one.
no separation between you and me.
your joy, my joy.
your pain, my pain.
we all yearn for the same things…
to be seen,
to be known,
to have work,
to have love.
we are all one.
