I’m moving next week! Not very far, only a few blocks from where I currently live. But the move has me thinking about where I live now, strategically located between two hills, between the Baltimore neighborhoods of Bolton Hill and Reservoir Hill. Like many, the last year has had me walking a lot more than usual and I’ve explored my neighborhood more than I ever have before.

It’s become a lovely routine, to set out with my camera, to see what I see. Here are some pairing from my recent wanderings in both neighborhoods.

As I begin another chapter in another space, I’m excited to discover some new walking routes. In the meantime, check out some more photographs from this (hopefully) on-going project of mine.

  1. Good luck with your move. So great to see some familiar Baltimore sights!

  2. Love these images. And your website too! I can really feel your eye discovering all the new things.
I hope your move goes well. x

  3. I fell in love with these photographs the moment I laid eyes on them! And stopped by your website for more. It’s hard to explain – why we care so much about the everyday views – how deeply we are moved by simply noticing. Best wishes for your move and making a new home by seeing it all.

    • Ah, thanks, Donna! I really appreciate that. I so agree with you. Weird how the enjoyment of the familiar can deepen over time. Sometimes 🙂 Thanks again.
