Quite a long time ago, I wrote this blog post about why we photograph. I’ve been struggling with that question for awhile and I’ve decided that I want to add a few more reasons to my initial list:
- to force myself to take notice
- to sway opinion
- to procrastinate
- as a reward
- to prove worth
- to justify expensive gear
- to learn new skills
- to experiment
- to gain credibility
- to relive a moment
- to mark the passing of time
