As photographers we all have those times when we just need to get out and take some photos, and when I am so struck I very often head out to our local botanic garden, in Cambridge. Even if the weather is ropey and the light questionable, I know that I’ll be able to get my fix in the glasshouses. But what happened when the need struck but I arrived in Cambridge to find that the glasshouses were closed? A little bit of magic happened…..
