A clean slate. A new beginning.

I’m thrilled that ViewFinders has been born and that the birth of this new photography site and community gives us all the opportunity to begin anew. To explore new realms with our cameras. To engage in a reinvigorated way with others who share our passion. To express ourselves creatively as only each of us can and to have an energized place to gather.

And if all of that sounds lofty to you, that’s okay, too. I am excited about all those things that ViewFinders offers both you, our readers, and me. But…I’m also grateful for the simple space of a fresh start. I’m needing to hit the “restore” button. I’m slowly emerging from the past few months of dormancy, in my life and in my creativity. I’m feeling the literal and figurative thaw occurring. I’m noticing the berries on the vines. A new day is dawning. A spring is upon us.
