And so, it begins. A fresh start, a new road, an adventure. To say I am excited to be a part of this journey would be an understatement. As with anything new there are apprehensions, worries, and jitters. But I have an amazing group to collaborate with and I have all of YOU!

What isn’t new on this adventure is my love for photography. Nor is my passion of sharing it with those willing to listen (or in this case read). I look at today’s post as a start of not only a new collaboration, but a new friendship with each of you. I am going to pretend we are sitting across the table from one another.

We each have a camera (or two) within reach, naturally. Maybe a cup of tea and I brought chocolate chip cookies!  Perhaps we have an adult beverage (I will probably have a pint of amber ale, if that’s the case). As we sip and talk, giggle and maybe even get a little teary-eyed, we connect.  I want to learn from you, I want to take your photo as you crack up at a silly joke I just made, and I want to be your friend.

  1. I have been lucky enough to eat your chocolate chip cookies and they are GOOD. Not that I need any excuse to want to sit down with you, with our cameras.

    I’ve never really had anyone that I could discuss photography with before. So, I would be the real quite one at the table.

    • You would be surprised how freeing it is when you are surrounded by people who “get it”.

    • Those are my friend Joey’s hands. He had an amazing sense of style. And is also an awesome photographer (look up @specificislander on IG)
