I do love this time of year — the seasons turning toward autumn, the briskness of the crisp air in the mornings, the smell of fireplaces starting up, the sound of rustling leaves as I walk. And yet, there is one sadness…the end of the farmer’s market for the year.
The end of carrot season…
and beets…
And no more fresh flowers on Sundays…
Well, maybe I need to find a new place to pick up fresh flowers. We certainly need those all year, right?
