Having just returned from a writing workshop, my brain is swirling with words and images. I’m reflecting on how my photography influences my writing, and vice versa. Lately, I have been focusing on the texture of words, the feel of sounds that make up nouns, verbs, adjectives…their texture in my mouth, on the page, in my heart.
Is this what I seek in my images? Texture that conjures emotion? Vibration that carries meaning?
Is your heart like the flowing water? Or is it more the spongey mushroom? Are your thoughts fluid and cascading as a waterfall? Or are they sharp like blades of grass?
Tell me, do your images match your words?
