Well, it seems like I finished my year of film 10 on 10! Ten film images shot on one day and posted on the tenth of every month, along with some other wonderful photographers. I can’t believe it – it’s gone by so fast. I also can’t believe I managed to pull off a whole year of film photography every month. AND I also blogged about it too!
I’m proud of myself and I feel like I am learning more photography than ever now. I feel more confident about the work I do and how I do it, more secure about the way I talk about my images and, most of all, happier about shooting film in general.
That proves how true this quote by Ernst Haas is: “There is only you and your camera. The limitations in your photography are in yourself, for what we see is what we are.” My camera and I have barely started the year and I already feel it’s going to be a great one.
Here is a small collection of my whole 10 on 10 year. I hope your photography year has no limitations and you are as excited as I am of the images that await us in 2017.
