This month we are very pleased to welcome Tracie Delisser as our Be Our Guest blogger. Traci is a portrait photographer living in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA. She is a shadow seeker, capturing a bit of dark in the midst of illuminating joy. You can find her at www.TraciElaine.co and on Instagram at Traci.Elaine.
“And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.” ― Roald Dahl
I look at her enthusiasm, her zest for life and her boldness and I am amazed.
Motherhood can be hard, single motherhood doubly hard, but she has taught me about surrender, laughter and the power of hugs.
She was the catalyst I prayed for. My passion. I have to capture her justly, memorializing her smile against the setting sun.
This is the beauty of the unrestrained childhood of Arielle, my muse, my daughter.
We want YOU to Be Our Guest! Post your images on Instagram with the hashtag #viewsfindersio_beourguest or leave a comment below with a link to your favorite images. You could be our next guest and have the opportunity to share your photographic vision with us.
See you soon.

That cartwheel photograph is the very essence of childhood and art and all that is good and true in this world. Love your perspective, your reverence for that sweet daughter, and your lyrical words. I’m looking for a dose of that unrestrained child in my grown-up life. Happy to see you here at ViewFinders!
Thanks Donna. She is my muse creatively and world view on life.
Tracie, so glad to have you as our guest today!
You’ve captured the joy and sweetness of your daughter so beautifully. She’s a lucky girl to have you as her mama…loving her so, taking such care to capture these moments of (her) beauty.
Thanks so much Michelle. She has taught me so much about surrender and embracing the moments as they come.
So much joy in these photos! Thank you for sharing them with us.
Can I just say that your daughter’s swimsuit game is strong! 🙂 The photographs make me smile. Such lovely work. You’ve captured summer perfectly! Thanks for sharing, Traci.
