I got two 35 mm film rolls back from the lab the other day, shot with a Minolta SRT100X over the last couple of years. There is so much to be said here, about how this camera does with landscapes, about grain, about failures and favourites, about wildly different conditions – snow and sunlight, inside and outside, about the choice of film and last but not least the nostalgia of new photos of my son from two years ago, but I think for once I am going to let the images speak for themselves and come back with more words when I have thought all the way through about why I am so stricken by these images. In the meanwhile you can be sure I will be shooting more film.
