Andy and I have some dear friends that live in Utah. After two years of not seeing them, we packed up the car and spent a long weekend with them. It was magical to be with people that you love.

I bought my husband, Andy, a Mavic Pro 2 for his birthday last year. And in true Andy style, we wanted to try it out while watching the sunrise. I love the images he captured on it.

While I watched the sunrise with my feet planted on the ground and my iPhone in hand, he captured it from up above. I find that to be a lovely metaphor for our marriage. He is the dreamer and the adventurer; I am steady and true… and pack the snacks.

It is a magical life to be able to try new things, be with old friends, and sit comfortably where you feel you belong. May you also have these gifts in your life.
