A Trip to the Garden

I had been cooped up indoors for too long. The sun was finally out from behind the clouds and it was a lovely day. It was a perfect day to visit the garden, to feel the sun on my skin and breathe the warm air. It turns out I wasn’t the only one who had that idea.

The garden holds space for every one. The blooms are a long ways off, seeds incubating in the ground waiting for the deepening warmth of Spring. In the meantime, here are blooms from this same place many months ago, when the colors burst forth in all its vivid force.

Spring will soon come again. Until then, I will stay attentive to the light and colors all around.

Eyes wide open,
Chinwe

  1. I love this line: “seeds incubating in the ground waiting for the deepening warmth of Spring.” I enjoyed the vivid reds and pinks and those abundant tulips – so gorgeous!
