These are strange days. Many of us are staying home in an effort to control the spread of this deadly virus. While we are home, I have seen many of us trying to keep busy. I have seen bread being made, projects around the house are being done, and masterclasses on napping. These are good things- we must keep living while hoping to save lives.
When it comes to photography, there are a few things I have been doing.
I recently started my sink project back up. If there is one thing I have had plenty of is dishes. Feel free to join me using the hashtag #yearofthesinkduringcoronavirus
Many years ago, I was part of a project called The Hours. We would take images throughout the day at different hours of the day. We have gotten the old crew together and have started The Days 2020. We are simply documenting our days during this time of staying home. You can follow us here and if you would like to join us, we are using the hashtag #thedays2020
I have kept busy with my photography is going back to old images and reprocessing them. It has been fun to see how my eye has changed over the years.
I have been trying to do is catch up on scanning my film. I am so far behind; it is embarrassing. I finally scanned a few rolls from January, when we were still gathering together, and my Japanese Magnolia was in full bloom.
How are you being creative during this time?
