“If you are seeking creative ideas, go out walking.
Angels whisper to a man when he goes for a walk.” – Raymond Inmon
During this pandemic, I have been taking early morning walks with my daughter and her husband. We start our walks at 6 am, just before the Sun reveals herself because my daughter is a teacher and needs to get back in time to log on and teach from her living room.
It has been wonderful to start our day together, sharing what our schedule looks like, encouraging each other on the full days, and celebrating when the day seems like it will feel more manageable than usual.
One thing we have all grown to love is watching the sunrise. The Sun usually begins to show off her colors when we reach one particular turn. She reminds us that the day is, in fact, new. With her brilliant colors, she reminds us it will be different than yesterday, even if it is only slightly.
Each morning as we stop and snap the brilliant colors, I am reminded to hope in the new and the light. I also reminded that the best camera is the one you have on you- even if it is just your iPhone.

I to go out at first light. Except when the freezing cold weather sets in. I use my iPhone for morning shots.
So much glory!
And the best way to spend time with your family.
