At an art museum one afternoon
I stood back and observed
patrons quietly moving about
almost ghost-like
keeping space
looking, interpreting, questioning
a microcosm of the world these days
where everything still seems surreal

I LOVE this post.
I have missed art so very much during the pandemic, but it hasn’t just been the art I have missed. I have missed the people watching and discussing things with strangers. This post perfectly captures that aspect too. Thank you.
Thanks so much, Kirstin. I had missed it too. Seems like years since I’ve visited a museum. Not much discussion going on between strangers. Very different experience these days.
