I recently watched Kenneth Branagh’s movie, Belfast. It takes place during a tumultuous time in Northern Ireland, a story of family and change. Filmed mostly in black and white, I noticed how many scenes were framed in doorways and windows, metaphors for change, transition, possibility.
I have been drawn to windows and doors in my own work.
No doubt, these are tumultuous times for us too. I have been thinking about making some changes in my life, in my attitude and in my work.
Many thanks to all the kind, talented women of Viewfinders for having me here.
Leaving the window open,
Best,
Susan xoxo

Beautiful Susan.
Oh, Susan! The light in these is like a balm. Thank you for being here!
wonderful Susan! I too have a love of windows and doors. I’ve been collecting doors for a long time. Just like them around the house. I love to photograph them too. Your photos are magical.
I shall miss your mastery of light. x
Thank you so much xoxo
