Fall, Leaves, Fall
Emily Brontë
Fall, leaves, fall; die, flowers, away;
Lengthen night and shorten day;
Every leaf speaks bliss to me
Fluttering from the autumn tree.
I shall smile when wreaths of snow
Blossom where the rose should grow;
I shall sing when night’s decay
Ushers in a drearier day.
As much as I love the colors of fall, the thrill of snow covered mountains and the newness of the next season always keeps me looking ahead. The mornings and evenings have a crisp chill to them and now when the skies are overcast, I begin checking the weather forecasts for chances of snow.
I’m looking forward to bundling up, turning on the fireplace and watching the flakes fall, maybe even more than the leaves right now.
Until that happens though, I’ll be over here enjoying the colors that find their way into my camera lens, even on muted cloudy days.
Enjoying all the seasons – Angie

Thank you!
There’s something so visceral about these images. Gorgeous!
