I have a great time traveling with Andy. I enjoy visiting new places as well as returning to my favorite spots. But regardless of the destination, some of the best days are when we escape the hustle and bustle and explore off the beaten path. These experiences often lead us to hidden gems, unique encounters, and breathtaking natural wonders.

During these adventures, I feel an incredible sense of freedom and energy to be in the present moment. It’s like I’ve reconnected with the boundless wonder and curiosity of my 5-year-old self while also embracing the deep wisdom and gratitude that come with over 50 years of life. This combination feels like pure magic.

Our morning hike in Greece was no exception. One of the famous hikes in Santorini is from Fira to Oia, a 6.5-mile trail along the island’s edge that offers breathtaking views. Luckily, the sky added to the magnificent scenery on this particular day.

As I look over my images of our trip, I am obviously drawn to the quintessential Greek images: roads paved in slate, whitewashed buildings, and giant blue domes. But this day, this hike, was one of my most memorable and cherished days.
