This summer, I brought out my “new” Contax T2 camera to our pool for the first time and I’m so glad I did! There’s something magical about the way film captures light and color on those bright, hot days or the soft glow on wet skin, the way the pool water sparkles… Every frame came out feeling like a memory I’d already lived. I used a mix of Kodak Ultramax 400, Cinestill 400, and Dubblefilm, which gave everything this warm, timeless vibe that just felt like summer. My favorite shot? I can’t decide! Maybe the action ones? They’re imperfect, a little blurry, but they are real. That’s what I love about film: don’t overthink it, you just shoot and let the moment do its thing.
