In a previous post, I mentioned that I was going ot start shooting more black and white film. And to keep my promise, I quickly loaded two of my cameras with black and white film, my Yashica with Ilford XP2. I am so glad I did because the next time I took out my Yashica T4 was while on vacation at Manhattan Beach. Had I not preloaded my camera, I would have definitely loaded it with color to capture all the beautiful colors of the ocean and California’s coastline.

At the beach – time you enjoyed wasting, is not wasted.” -T. S. Eliot

In my last post, I mentioned dropping off my film at The Photo Dept. Wow, I am impressed! I received my scans via email within a week, and they are beautiful! I love the depth they have.

Now to shoot the black and white roll loaded in my Contax. What are you loading your camera up with this week?
