I’ve been making a bit more of an effort, lately, to catch some of the more “normal” parts of where I live. It’s kind of just another suburb in the Midwestern United States. And there are a lot of houses that look the same, boring street lamps and garish street signs, lots of “yup, that could be every suburb” going on. But what I’m challenging myself to do is to actually see it. To see that this too can be beautiful in its own ordinary-ness.
