Negative space.
How do you define it? It’s all about what you create with the space around the thing you want the viewer to focus on. By giving your subject the space it needs to shine, you create a little bit of magic. (If you missed it and need some beautiful examples of negative space, Mayte Pons’ recent post was truly inspiring.)
Members of the ViewFinders community have been sharing images that use negative space in a variety of ways. Here are some of our favorites.
We’re so excited to see more of you playing along with our themes! Next up we want to see SILHOUETTES. Post your images and tag them #viewfindersio and #silhouette by May 22nd for an opportunity to be featured in the May 26th post.
See you soon!
