I had a post planned for this month, but when I sat down at my desk this morning – the first day of autumn – the view from the window showed the most glorious of September days, and the garden looked magnificent in a slightly faded and weather-beaten way. So I grabbed my camera and snapped a few images of what feels like the last hurrah for this year.
