It’s that time of the year when I dream of living under the trees of Lóthlorien in The Lord of the Rings, the mallorn trees, great giants with leaves that turn golden in autumn and only fall to the ground in spring when new leaves start to grow.
It’s that time of the year when I love the mood and the colours, and dread the inevitable greying of the world come winter.
And it’s that time of the year when I start to enjoy shooting in less light than I was used to in summer, and edit on my phone using the faux old-fashioned filters of VSCO.
