When fall and winter collide.

This is not the post I had in mind for this month. I was going to write about my love of fall day trips with my best friend. Not my partner, who is also one of my best friends, but my favourite film camera.

And then it snowed. Real, cold, heavy, white stuff. It snowed all night and then all day and then some more… We often don’t get snow until closer to Christmas around here and it was quite unexpected. A lot of trees hadn’t dropped their leaves and were still covered in yellow, bronze and gold. Now, snow and -3°C on November 9th is a bit early for my taste, but it was so beautiful that I dropped the day trips topic, grabbed my digital camera and went to our local park. Here is what I came back with.

I hope you enjoy this little preview of winter.
