This is a repost from a number of years ago, but it has all the feels of autumn in New England right now. Enjoy!
It’s suddenly November and the autumn season is in full swing.
The leaves are falling.

The mornings are crisp.

Autumn nor’easters leave puddles in their wake.
The trees are bare.

The garden is put away for the season.
The birds are flying south.
The corn is harvested.
The hoses are stored away.
The pumpkins are left over from Halloween.
And the summer visitors have all gone home.
Happy November!

Happy November, Lucy! What a lovely photo essay, the picture of your hoses hanging haphazardly made me smile. : ) I’m sure you are happy the summer tourists have returned home!
Dear Lucy, I enjoy each one of these as individual images and as a collection. They convey a true feeling of autumn.
These are all totally worthy of your book, Lucy! Thank you for sharing. x
