I have the privilege of watching my granddaughter, Zari, during the week while my daughter and her husband go to work. This means my home is once again full of toys and books, my car has a large car seat in the back, and my old knees are missing my younger, spry joints.

I have started a little photo project of Zari from above while she plays. It has become a delightful little photo album- full of the messy moments of babyhood. This post contains a few of those images. I am also including a few of Zari’s favorite things right now.

What she is listening to:
I Knew an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly
Hush, Little Baby
You Are My Sunshine
Down By the Bay
Goldberg Variations

What she is reading:
Artsy Cats, A Pawsitivly Purrfect Tour Through Modern Art History by Angie Rozelaar
Nevermore from the Little Lit Series by Kate Coombs
I Want My Hat Back by Jon Klassen
Rocket Science for Babies by Chris Ferrie
The Gender of Sound by Anne Carson (although Grandma needs to brush up on her Greek pronunciation)

Things she loves doing:
Eating
Nap Snacks
Reading and Eating Books
Rocking in the rocking chair
Taking walks in the stroller and watching the trees

What are some things you are loving right now?
