In my last post, I bid adieu to this year’s summer and the farmer’s market goodies of the past season. And now, I greet the autumn with full openness. I adore fall, and I make no secret of that. It is, without a doubt, my favorite time of year. It’s not just the cozy sweaters, the comfort in my skin without the extreme heat or cold, the smell of fires burning in living rooms. It’s the LIGHT.
Dreamy, creamy, golden light. It makes even the dullest of scenes magic. And I do love magic.
I want to pack a bag, jump in the car, and just drive. Windows down. Music blasting. And off. Adventure awaits in the light. Who’s coming?

Such magical light. And I always forget it’s coming in Autumn and why I adore it. Thank you for reminding me why.
That first image just gets me. It looks like a still from a movie set in the 80’s – some kind of vintage and too perfect to be real quality to that honeyed light.
