Years ago I wrote a post about three favorite things in my life at the time. You can read it here, if you’re interested. The three things were photography, kitties, and editing with my phone apps. Seven years have gone by since that post and I was wondering today if those faves still held up.
Photography still stands as number one on my list, that’s a given, despite the fact that I do not take my camera out as much as I used to. Cats and kittens definitely remain a close second. After fostering countless litters over the years, I can say without a doubt that they still bring me endless joy (and plenty of cuddles).
I would have to say, though, that traveling has slowly become my last favorite because it combines so much of what I love, like new places, new experiences, and the chance to see the world with fresh eyes. And of course, it ties right back to photography because I always take a camera (or two!) with me on every trip.
So I guess my top three now are photography, cats, and travel. Which basically means if you put me on a plane with my camera and a kitten in my lap, I’d be living my best life!
My favs are painting, dogs and reading.
Agreed. Cats, photography, travel. And a good book!
