Wild Edges of the World

After being in Asia, the land of densely packed cities and flurries of activity, I found myself back in the land of solitude. First stop, Alaska, the last frontier, where glaciers, orcas and endless seas were a daily occurrence.

Next, after a short stint in California, I headed to the wild wild west of Arizona, where the cacti were blooming and the skies were clear and blue. There is something strange and wonderful about being all alone under a big sky, in a forest full of trees, or with the road stretched out endlessly before you. It gives you a feeling of peace, and a reminder that despite our busy lives, the world keeps turning, and the possibilities are endless. This often makes me contemplate how small I really am in this big world, but despite this, I am not lonely. There is so much to see and smell and touch and I am always looking forward to what is around the next corner.

What comes next? I don’t know, but I am sure it will be an adventure!

Thanks for following along! – Kyria
