I love to walk, not just to “get my 10,000 steps in” but to explore the world around me. These walks can come in many forms. Sometimes they are deliberate, with a certain amount of miles or a destination in mind. Sometimes I just wander, and it doesn’t matter when I arrive. Sometimes I am in a new place or on a new route, and it can be a lot to process everything. Lastly, sometimes my path is a matter of habit, providing me with a chance to observe the world around me without worrying about my feet. Every walk is a little bit different.

No matter what, I always treat my walks like the song from Come Outside, which went, “Look up, look down, look all around, up in the air or on the ground, come for a walk, come for a ride, there’s so much to see, so Come Outside…” There are so many interesting things to see, be they big rocks or small creatures, and finding them is an adventure in itself! Since this was a British television show, today my post will be full of things I have found while walking around the UK.
