Last week (in Baltimore)

Here are some pictures from last week…which happened to be my last week in Baltimore. Yep – it’s been quite a monumental week for me. I said a lot of goodbyes and I moved to North Carolina! In fact, I’ll be moving into my new place today! It’s back to school for me, as a full-time student at Duke Divinity School. I’m currently enrolled in a 2-year Masters program, focusing on theology, ethics, and the intersection of theology and art. It’s wild to be preparing to be in school full-time after working full-time for almost 20 years. But it feels right for me. I can’t wait to dig into all the reading and writing. I can’t wait to explore Durham and to meet people here. I can’t wait to think about the connections between love of the world and love of God.

And along with all the excitement is a deep gratitude for my time in Baltimore. I’ve shared so much about that place here and I’m sure I’ll share more. For now, here is what the light looked like there last week.

I love you, Baltimore!

  1. Oh Baltimore! Every time I return there I feel the roots of my childhood and my grandparents’ long tenure there. You have captured its essence for me, from the lights and lines to the heart of the city. Best of luck in your next adventures!

    • Thanks, Lucy. Glad you can relive the lovely memories through my images. I loved my time there so much, walking around the city. It’s a special place.

  2. Oh wow, that’s a big move and I’m so excited for you! Can’t wait to see all the beautiful new places you’ll capture with your amazing eye!

  3. What an exciting adventure for you, Chinwe! As thrilled for you as I am, I am really kicking myself for not following up on a meet-up while you were “next door.”

    • Thanks so much, Debbie. I know! We failed to make that happen 🙁 I’m sure that our paths will cross in some other way.
